The death of a 4-year-old is being investigated by the Glendale Police Department.
On Sept. 18, a 911 call for a medical emergency sent Glendale fire-paramedics and officers to the 6300 block of North 64th Drive.
CPR was not successful.
“Upon (police) officers arrival, Glendale Fire was on scene and advised the child was a full code,” said Jay O’Neill, a spokesman for the Glendale Police.
The child was transported to a local hospital where the child was later pronounced deceased.
“No further details are being released as the investigation into cause is on-going at this time,” said O’Neill.
The death, he added, “is being treated as suspicious in nature.”
