Andrea Ramirez of Glendale High School, a proud member of the Glendale Union High School District, is one of 20 Arizona high school seniors who was awarded with the 2019 Flinn Scholarship. The merit-based award, valued at more than $120,000, fully covers admission and tuition fees to one of Arizona’s most prestigious universities. In addition, the scholarship provides funds for housing, meals and at least two study-aboard experiences.

To qualify for the Flinn Scholarship, Andrea achieved at least a 3.5 grade-point average, a top-5% class rank, a score of 1,340 on the SAT or 29 on the ACT, and demonstrated exceptional leadership in extracurricular activities.
