After announcing the acquisition of 32 existing Urgent Care Extra centers in 2016, Banner Health is offering seven new urgent care sites this month and additional sites coming soon. This growth in highly convenient, extended-hours care assures that its patients across Phoenix and Tucson will have excellent access to care, even when their physician’s office is closed.

“It’s a service that’s obviously needed in both markets,” said Banner Urgent Care CEO Rob Rohatsch, MD. “We’re fairly new to the urgent care business, but not to the health care business, so we’re striving to provide our communities with the best in care from a trusted, well-known health network.”

Glendale and Peoria sites:

7952 N. 43rd Ave.

Glendale, AZ 85308

623-847-0901

4232 W. Bell Rd.

Glendale, AZ 85308

602-0639-4535

6702 W. Bethany Home Rd.

Glendale, AZ 85303

623-435-7000

21980 N. 83rd Ave.

Peoria, AZ 85383

623-566-1949

Banner Urgent Care offers treatment for illnesses which aren’t life threatening, minor injuries, physical exams, screenings and some diagnostic testing; in addition to on-site x-ray and pharmacy services.

Rohatsch said, “No one has time to be sick, but make sure you take the time to get well – even if that means an after hours visit to our urgent care providers. We are here to help, every day.”

Banner Urgent Care provides a close, convenient and affordable treatment option for patients with illnesses and injuries such as cold and flu; ear, eye and throat infections; fevers; skin rashes; and sprains, strains and lacerations.

Banner Urgent Care is open every day of the year, and accepts most insurance plans. For more information, locations and hours of operation, visit www.BannerHealth.com/services/urgent-care.
