Free concert March 27 at Arena

Event will support Cesar Chavez movie premier

Arena, in partnership with the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Radio Campesina, will welcome local and national Hispanic dignitaries and prominent members of the community to the arena 7 p.m. March 27 at 9400 W. Maryland Ave., when they host a free concert featuring musical group Duelo, as part of the opening weekend premier of Cesar Chavez, the biopic film based on the life and legacy of the political leader.

The free event, which will give more than 2,500 community members the opportunity to attend a concert featuring the chart topping musical group Duelo, will begin 8 p.m. Doors for the event open 7 p.m., one hour before the concert begins. Following the concert, guests are invited to march to the AMC Westgate 20 for a sponsored midnight screening of the movie, Cesar Chavez.
