Glendale residents have seen their share of ups and downs this year. Glendale Glitters, however, is still providing live entertainment and lots of food choices for visitors.
As we approach the end of a tumultuous year, one filled with drama, sadness, and occasional bouts of cheer (and that’s just the U.S. presidential campaign), it is heartening to go to bed at night on the educated assumption that the sun will rise again tomorrow, and all will be well in your world.
We are truly blessed in this city and the United States of America.
No matter which way you lean politically, unless you just don’t give a darn about much of anything, you have to admit, there is no other place on Earth you’d rather be at this point in our country’s history. Talk about how disappointed you are with the presidential election - but don’t believe for one minute your opinion about the election is the only one that matters.
That goes for those voices at city council meetings as well. That’s where the most meaningful decisions are made - in your own hometown. Speak up; be heard. Start the new year right.
