The National Hockey League released the schedules for the 2018-19 season and as another rebuilding season gets underway after the team finished last season strong, fans will have a wide variety of games to witness at Gila River Arena.

As the team begins their 22nd season in Arizona, 16th at Gila River Arena, after finishing last season 29-41-12 and last in the Pacific Division. The team hopes to get off to a better start after struggled early last season, losing 27 of their first 41 games.

The Coyotes open the season Oct. 4 at Dallas Stars before their season opener at Gila River Oct 6 against the Anaheim Ducks. All weekday regular-season home games will be 7 p.m. except for Nov. 23 vs. Colorado (6 p.m.), Jan. 2 vs. Edmonton (7:30 p.m.) and Jan. 16 vs. San Jose (8 p.m.).

All Saturday home games start at 6 p.m. except for Dec. 22 vs. Colorado (5 p.m.), Feb. 9 vs. Dallas (2 p.m.), Feb. 16 vs. Toronto (5 p.m.), March 16 vs. Edmonton (7 p.m.) and Apr. 6 vs. Winnipeg (7 p.m.).

The Coyotes travel Nov. 6 to face the defending Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals, with the Capitals coming to Gila River Arena Dec. 6 for their only two matchups with the champions.

The longest home stand for the Coyotes’ will be a seven-game stretch that opens Feb. 24 against the Winnipeg Jets and ends March 9 against Los Angeles Kings. The Coyotes have four road trips of four games each, as their longest road trips of four games each. They are Oct. 16-23, Nov. 8-13, Dec. 11-16 and March 18-24.

The team will open their seven-game preseason on Sept. 16, at the Western Conference Champion Vegas Golden Knights before a split-squad game against the Los Angeles Kings Sept. 18. The Coyotes will then host the Anaheim Ducks in their final home game of the preseason on Sept. 22 at Gila River Arena.

They then travel Sept. 24 to play at Anaheim Ducks before ending the preseason Sept. 27 at the Edmonton Oilers and Sept. 29 at the Vancouver Canucks.
