"Papa Ed’s Ice Cream made Trip Savvy’s “Ice Cream Parlors, Yogurt Shops, Gelato Shops in Phoenix” list."

Have you heard the scoop on Papa Ed’s?

Papa Ed’s Ice Cream made Trip Savvy’s “Ice Cream Parlors, Yogurt Shops, Gelato Shops in Phoenix” list.

On top of that, it earned Trip Savvy’s Editor’s Choice in the “Sweet Tooth” category.

Call that a double scoop.

Here’s what  so Trip Savvy had to say:

“Once a garage, it was transformed into an old fashioned ice cream parlor in 2008. Papa Ed’s Ice Cream is a family-owned business located in the quaint Catlin Court Historic District in downtown Glendale.”

A 10-month renovation turned that garage into Glendale’s sweet spot.

According to Papa Ed’s website, “We are nestled right behind a 1920s bungalow called the Country Maiden. Three generations of smiling faces operate the old-fashioned ice cream parlor.

“The minute you open the door at Papa Ed’s Ice Cream you are greeted with a warm welcome.”

Papa Ed’s is at 7146 N 58th Avenue. For more information, visit papaedsicecream.com/ or call 623-915-4438
