Peggy Joyce Anderson Williams, 83, died July 27, 2016, with family by her side.
In 1953, she married William T. Williams in Abilene, Texas. The family moved to Buckeye, Ariz. in 1958. She was president of the Woman’s Club, active with teems and a member of First Southern Baptist Church.
In 1968, she moved to Glendale, where she and her family resided for 50 years. She was so proud to call Glendale home. She spent 20 years with Valley National Bank, retiring in 1988. Most of all, she loved her family. She never lost her Texas twang and was loved by all that knew her. She found the good in everyone, was generous, kind, sweet, had a funny sense of humor, and a love for life.
Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) T. Williams, and her son, Mark Williams. She is survived by her sons, Mat (Cindy) and Marlin; daughter, Marcia (Chris); grandson, Nicholas Williams; granddaughter, Michelle Rendall; and three great-grandchildren.
A special thanks to the wonderful people at D&M Assisted Living and Hospice of the Valley.
