A Birthday Bash to celebrate 20 years since Sun Valley Animal Shelter built its No-Kill shelter in Glendale is planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 22. At the same time, the shelter is holding its Second Annual Sun Valley Animal Shelter Pet Expo.
There will be more than 50 booths; including rescue groups of almost every kind, from big dogs to little dogs, cats, hamsters, birds and even sugar gliders. The event will include multiple raffles, food vendors, and other types of vendors. Visit the MCSO Mash unit, which will have animals up for adoption that have been rescued from abusive or neglectful owners. Adopt a new friend, whether it is a dog, a cat, a hamster, a bird or whatever you love, at the event.
Admission and parking are free. Visitors are encouraged to bring a monetary donation to give to the rescue or charity of your choice. This will help support local rescues and charities and all of the good work they do to help those that need it most.
