Millions of Americans, including veterans, struggle to find oral health care when they need it – particularly in Arizona, where all 15 counties in the state are known as dental health professional shortage areas. This means each county’s residents lack access to dental care, either due to cost or distance.

To help address these barriers, dental school students from Midwestern University will be providing free dental care to area veterans through a partnership with U.S. VETS-Phoenix and Aspen Dental, as part of Aspen Dental’s Healthy Mouth Movement. The free event will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 19 at Aspen Dental Office at The Shops at Arrowhead, 7708 W. Bell Road, Ste. 103.

Interested veterans should call U.S. VETS-Phoenix, 602-305-8585, to schedule an appointment time. All appointments are scheduled in advance.
